Choose your own place
Head to the wilderness with /wild and find a suitable spot. /village create <name> starts a village on eligible land. Claims must respect protected locations, the world border, and neighboring villages.
/village opens your village menu, while /village help lists the commands. /homestead remains an alias for players who used the earlier system.
Build with people you trust
The village belongs to its owner, who manages paid upgrades and resident access. Trusted residents can build and share the village’s benefits. Invite people deliberately: trusted access is a building permission, not just a social label.
Village progression includes resident capacity, landmarks, a noticeboard, heraldry, and community features. You choose the buildings and streets; purchasing an upgrade does not paste a premade town over your work.
Choose what your village becomes
Infrastructure upgrades develop your Town Hall, land, and resident capacity. Production options improve fuel use, cooking, and irrigation. Comfort upgrades support life around home, while skill lodges can improve earned experience in their corresponding skills.
The update includes 33 upgrade tracks with multiple levels across the catalog. Check the menu for the current price, prerequisite, and benefit before confirming a purchase. Prices increase as an upgrade reaches higher levels.
Start small and grow with a purpose
A shared food supply, a clear path home, and space for useful workstations make a practical starting point. Add landmarks when the village spreads out, then invest in the gathering or crafting activities your residents actually enjoy.
Village storage services use a personal Ender Chest. Do not assume that unlocking a vault creates a shared inventory for everyone.
